Our Story

We grew up watching our family treat food as something sacred — amla from the neighbour’s tree, seeds dried on the rooftop, nothing from a factory, nothing with a label you couldn’t read. Somewhere along the way, India’s kitchens filled up with packets full of things our grandparents wouldn’t recognise.

Purie began with a simple promise between two brothers — Sudip and Sourav Biswas: bring back food the way it used to be. Sourced directly from farmer families, cleaned and packed in our own facility in Delhi, and never — not once — touched by a preservative.

Today Purie reaches families across India with single-ingredient powders, seeds and herbal teas. One ingredient on the label. That’s the whole story, and we intend to keep it that way.
